I'm a passionate Wilbur Smith fan and was so pleased to find this forum for the opportunity to discover other like minded people and answers to some of my long pent up WS questions. I've read all WS's books, and usually manage to get through each series every year. I'm an Afrophile and reading WS books help me to satiate my appitite for Africa when I'm unable to get there. They a like a holiday for me. Sometimes I forget that the characters are not people I know but just characters in a novel. Now isn't that sad.
I'd be hard pressed to pick a favourite WS book, but I think The burning shore would be in my top 3, however my least favourite is Golden Fox. I found Bella to be the same annoying, spoilt child that she was in Rage.
