Hello everyone

Postby Nathan » Sat Sep 22, 2007 2:26 pm

Hello everyone. My name is Nathan and I'm fairly new to Wilbur Smith. However, he is already my favourite author of all time and I've currently read Birds of Prey and have almost finished Dark of the Sun (one of my favourite books of all time). I also own Shout at the Devil and Cry Wolf.

I hope I can get chatting to you all and make new friends.

Cheers!

Nathan

Hi Nathan,

You've got a lot of great books ahead of you! If you loved Birds of Prey then Monsoon will be a real treat!

Hi Nathan,

Im new here myself, so welcome from another newbie!

If you've already read birds of prey then i would suggest doing the whole of the courtney saga in chronological order. So thats birds of prey, monsoon, blue horizon, triumph of the sun, When the lion feeds etc....

Loads of rippin' yarns ahead!

Cheers mate

Hello Nathan,
I joined a few days ago to discuss the Egyptian novels, but I have Birds of Prey on a featured spot on my book case. I never read such details of life at sea at that time. WS's description of that market place with the boys for sale will never leave my memory. His characters are more real than those I have found from most other authors.
Happy reading,
Penina

Thanks for all the kind words and recommendations guys. I'm about a quarter of the way through Cry Wolf now and it's already proving to be another masterpiece from Wilbur.
