Another Newbie

Postby Etaeb » Thu May 08, 2008 10:35 am

Hi all

I'm new to the forum, but not new to Wilbur Smith!

Currently re-reading the Egyptian series - my absolute favourite!

I usually read Fantasy or Horror, but my hubby suggested I read River God. I did, and loved it. This was about 4 years ago. I'm a 26 year old South African, married, no kids, and I really enjoy reading.

Oh, and a friendly warning - I'm a Thread Reviver! 8)

Awesome, welcome to the forums. Hopefully you'll be able to revive some of these forums a bit. It gets a little quiet around here sometimes. You read any other WS books, or just the Egyptian series?

I've only read the Egyptian series, because I'm fascinated by ancient Egypt. Will definitely get around to reading some others. Anything you'd recommend?

You definitely should read some of the other series! They will pique your interest in lots of other historical things I promise!

The Courtney series! Start chronologically! "Birds of Prey" to "When the Lion Feeds" and so on. Incredible reading!
