a big Wilbur Smith fan for decades!

Hello, I have been an avid reader of Wilbur Smith since 1971 when I read the condensed version of The Sunbird in Reader's Digest Condensed Books. It prompted me to purchase the hardcover edition of the book, and to collect all previous WIlbur Smith books and subsequent publications. I continue to enjoy each book and reread them on a regular basis. I am looking forward to reading Assegai which I ordered from the UK since I couldn't wait an extra month for it to be published in the United States! I also have shared my love for Wilbur Smith books with my father, who looks forward to each new book. Once I have read Assegai, I will give it to my father for his birthday in May. If Mr. Smith ever makes an appearance in the United States I will be there! He is my favorite author.

Hi & welcome Purple Dawn :) Be sure to give us your review when you're done - I'll be waiting for the May release. I have this thing about actually going into shops and buying books; dorky, I know!
