New to Wilbur Smith books. Introduced by my colleagues at work who are all fanatical W.S. fans. So much so that we communicate in Swahili on many an occasion. Just finished The Courtneys now on The Ballantynes second book Men of Men. This book is so good I am reading it twice. What a country, what a history and what a nation of fantastic people. I now want to go and see for myself Table Mountain, the Matabale traditions and everything else! Does anyone know if there are specific holiday tours based on his books? By the way Jambo rafiki means Hello friend.

Hi - welcome to a new member. I have never heard of specific tours based on WS books but most guides in southern Africa would be aware of the sites of WS novels.
Incidentally Swahili won't get you far in RSA and Zimbabwe - try Zulu as a good all-round passage to conversation with the locals, but English is probably enough.
