New Member Introduction
Posted: Mon Apr 12, 2010 6:48 pmHello from SW Florida...entry to the Everglades. I am a fifth generation native of SW Florida, and as soon as I finish reading "Assegai", I will become a second reader of WS books.
Was introduced to his books by accident, but was immediately hooked. I only buy paperbacks, so I have the entire collection to begin re-reading.
I recently discovered "Assegai" while crusing my book store. I vowed to begin doing more research on WS online. Now that I've found this site, I'll have many questions, such as.....does he write in French? What does he think about the movie "Dark of the Sun" realeased in the 60's in the US? (It is quite a change from the book!), and actually I liked the movie better than the book (except for the acting of Jim Brown).
Rod Taylor was a great actor, a man's man that really reflects the hero personality of the WS books. Please excuse my ravings...I'm new to all of this, forums, etc. Just a big WS fan.
