Has Wilbur's autograph changed?

Postby Andyrichardson » Tue Jun 11, 2013 1:14 am

I recently had some books signed for me by WS, however when I received them back the autograph was different from previous signed books I have? The "Wilbur" was not as legible. Does any one have any ideas why and has anyone come across this as well? Cheers.

I think everybody's signature changes with time - and this would especially apply to celebrants who would wish to improve the look of their signature over earlier efforts. - I've also noticed this with WS's signings and in fact dealers (such as Wade Burgess) often make a specific point about a signature indicating whether it was signed when the book was published or at a later date.
