I'm a huge Wilbur Smith Fan and have only just discovered your website.
My favorites (so far) are all of the Egyptian novels as well as Birds of Prey, Monsoon, and Sunbird.
Last night I started Power of the Sword so we'll see where this leads me now. I think WS is a brilliant writer and I feel fortunate to have so many books of his to discover still.

Thanks Matbow. I can't wait to dig in to more WS books. I've already made plans for some by reading through the forum. The only problem is that there is so much to read still and just not enough time. I suppose it is the same for all of us here. Anyhow, I look forward to participating in the forum. I love being in the company of other fans of WS as I'm sure other writers I like as well.

Thanks for making me welcome everyone. Have been enjoying reading some of the threads here and they make interesting reading.. I have been enjoying these books for years and its great to read what others think. My friends all take the micheal over my obsession ( I have all books, hard and soft back and four compilations, they do look great though on my bookshelf) and its great to find a site full of like minded people....Does anyone know if he is doing any signings over here with The Quest?? My last signed one is Blue Horizon, not one of his best, but a treasured possesion.
Jo

You'll find a list of his appearances on the official website - how lucky that you have some of your books signed!
