My grandmother introduced me to the books of Wilbur Smith when I was 15 years old. She gave me a copy of When The Lion Feeds and since that introduction I have read, and own every book written by Wilbur Smith.
In the late 90s, a day before Wilbur Smith visited Perth on a signing trip, my grandmother passed away and I treasure the paperbook she first gave me as equal to the signed hardback copies of books I now own.
I hope I have something to contribute to the forum.
