While doing a Wilbur Smith search... can't remember which search engine. google or yahoo.
Sometimes, we get through adversity only by imagining what the world might be like if our dreams should ever come true.

Hi all,

I have read some of the earliear books but being in the military kind of stopped me from further reading of W.S. books.
In the mean tie I came across the W.S. website and I thought great and decided to join the forum.

Regards,
chookie.

I went to the Wilbur Smith homepage to get the order of his books (I had been a fan reading in no particular order) and found this site.

Like Joe up there, I did exactly the same after reading A Sparrow Falls. If the place had turned out to be real I think I would have planned a trip to SA especially. Read a few of Wilburs books including all the Egypt series and a couple of others but have only recently discovered the Courtney series so I'm working through them now.

I find that Wilburs writing does something to my state of mind that no other author has ever achieved. His books really are something special and I have built up a healthy lust for Africa through them. A trip down the length of the continent is on the cards for the future.
