Anyone?

Post any fan fiction here...

Anyone?

Postby Matbow » Mon Jan 23, 2006 5:51 pm

So is anyone actually gonna post anything here? I had it on good authority that we had a few budding WS Fanfic writers amongst us!

Go on...

FanFic = Fan Fiction I guess. Where you can write your own material, whether it's new or even a carry-on of a Wilbur book. I was - at one point - going to write a story that continues from where 'A Time To Die' ended because I loved that book so much and never wanted it too end! There are a few reason's why I have not. One would be time. Another would be confidence!

....But perhaps in the future I wil eventually give it a go.

Thanks John - as an author I'd be up the creek.

I'd love to read it too, John!

Don't try and plan the whole story now, but do it chapter by chapter & play it by ear - you never know what you'll come up with!

It's a great stress-reliever too :)

Thanks for the encouragement guys. Carrying on from that book would be something that interests me but is also something that I anticipate being very difficult. I've never written a story in my life (apart from maybe when I was in school! :) )

I think I might have a quick go and see what happens. Could be fun.

Cheers

Go for it. It can be a ton of fun and like Neferk said a great stress reliever. Feel free to post it up and you'll probably get a ton of reviewers (I know I would be one). Post up a prologue or something... I'm looking forward to reading it! :D

Simply proving to be too time restricting. I will not get a chance to have a go at this until i get some time off work. But i won't give up on it completely. If anyone else wants to step up, by all means go ahead, I'd love to read it.

I would love to write some fiction, but alas don't have the time. Perhaps after this hectic semester.
