Here you go guys! Hope you like it!
Later that evening, when the Pharaoh and his family had retired to their quarters, Taita spotted a lone figure wandering towards the city. Intrigued, he quickly followed.
Taita was walking alongside him before Meren realised he was there. “You startled me, old man!” he exclaimed. They walked in silence.
“Why have you returned?” asked the Magus suddenly.
“I have come to rejoin my friends once more,” Meren replied.
“You know as well as I do that things are going to be different now” Taita said frankly.
Meren was silent as they walked through the gloomy streets of Thebes. He nervously kicked a pebble along the dusty road.
Soon Taita spoke again. “You know you cannot tell anyone”.
“They are my friends, Taita! They will understand that I had no choice!” Meren angrily responded.
Taita shook his head sadly. “Don’t be so naïve, Meren! Some things just should not be brought to light!” he said heatedly.
Meren stopped in his tracks. He turned to face the old man.
“You have no right to tell me what to do!”
Meren quickened his pace and was soon swallowed by the darkness.

The Royal City of Babylon stood proudly on the waters of the two mighty rivers. The high walls of burned brick formed a seemingly impregnable fortress.
Omari Menes entered the royal chamber of King Caspian.
“Your Majesty,” he announced, “I apologise for this sudden interruption, but the men! They are growing restless. They want to fight!”
The King looked up and glared at the young officer.
“I have planned for this for 16 years of my life. Surely, your men can wait longer. We must stay until we receive word from our contact and the decision that has been forced upon him. It is vitally important to or cause. That alone could take any number of years. Be patient. You shall be rewarded when our time comes.”
Omari bowed and left the King to his thoughts.
King Caspian strode out to the moonlit balcony.. The sound of his boisterous army echoed through the streets and drowned out his next words.
“I will reclaim my rightful place on the pretender’s throne. Then, finally, my father will be avenged.”

'You were ever more than a tutor to me,' Memnon answered softly. 'You where the father I never knew.'
