but the evil that men do lives on

A day in any other month
While a tiger eyed its prey and an eagle raged in a thunderous sky a river of darkness fell upon a burning sun and the wolf cried tis a time to die, thus did the angels weep as power and triumph in those golden eyes did creep.

I actually know the answer to this one, so I'll give you guys a clue. Think of the riddle as:

What is as rare as "a Friday in June"?

ellyattc stated it has something to do with the words, and Matbow put quotes around "a Friday in June"

This makes me consider the words "Friday" and "June", and those two doesn't have much in common. In fact not even a single letter!

I guess the answer should be some other day in the week, so let's see what other weekdays there are:
Monday
Tuesday
Wednesday
Thursday
Saturday
Sunday

Hmm, they all had letters in common with June. Maybe some other month then?

January, February, March, April, May, July, August, September, October, November, December

I made a matrix of the weekdays on the left side, and the months on the top, and found that the only combination except Friday and June that doesn't share a single letter, is Sunday and October!

So my answer will have to be:

A Sunday in October

Hot!
Either because it is quicker to say, or
anyone can catch a cold (Bless You)

Correct. I was thinking of the "catch a cold" answer.
