Heat Waves

Postby Nefer » Wed Aug 02, 2006 11:10 am

It seems everyone the world over is sweltering in the heat.

Although some places in the world see this weather every summer aka New Dehli and it feels an hundred times worse than you can imagine, with all the dry dirt blowing in your face and pollution wrecking the air quality...

Well, lets not talk about me,

How is everyone here dealing with the heat (if you're in it)?

The heat was great while it lasted. Brought out the summer duvet 4.5 tog to aid the sleep. Sat out drinking cool lagers and milkshakes. Wore short sleeve shirts to work.

As I look out of the window just now I see a force 5 westerly with rain so bad that the satellite picture is breaking up. Wife has donned a woollen cardigan to warm her up a bit.

Here we are in the heat of the British Summer again! 8)

It was uber hot not too long ago. It was great getting to wear sleeve-less blouses and skirts to work! But I was nonetheless thankful for air conditioning.

There was once a time when I thought 23 degrees C was not at all warm... Now, I think 23 with a fresh sea breeze is perfect!

Yeah, N.D. right before the monsoons break has to be the cake - we were still sweating in AC'ed rooms!
