Pick one only Of all the books you have read in your lifetime what is the one that you would separate from all the others and give it the great title of being THE BEST BOOK I HAVE EVER READ.
Does not have to be a Wilbur Smith novel
My choice is Monsoon by Wilbur Smith

Probably "The Children of Green Knowe" by Lucy M. Boston.

There was a copy of one of the books in my class library when I was in Grade 4, I think, in South Africa. Due to many factors, going to school there was not the happiest time (in a way it was, but looking back as an adult, not so much.) Well anyway, it was a great escape for me, and I was completely immersed in the world of the story, so much so that I can still remember to this day, how happy I felt reading those books.

It opened me up to the wide world of reading and I haven't looked back since

Yes you are right it is way to hard a question since I have mentioned my own choice Monsoon I have allready changed my mind - Now its Angels and Demons by Dan Brown wait just changed my mind now its Blue Horizon by Wilbur Smith - However your answer Ken Follett I think would win a vote he sure is a well spoken of book writer and author and has a huge fan base
