Best Book You Have Ever Read ? Impossible Question ?

Postby johnrogers » Fri Dec 17, 2010 12:45 am

Pick one only :D Of all the books you have read in your lifetime what is the one that you would separate from all the others and give it the great title of being THE BEST BOOK I HAVE EVER READ.
Does not have to be a Wilbur Smith novel :-k
My choice is Monsoon by Wilbur Smith =D>

Just thought about my post - I must be dumber than a Buffalo eating grass - It is impossible to answer [b14] [b14] [b14] [b19] I have changed my fave book 10 times since I posted this

( only exception is Ehoog and maybe Nefer - Silver Fox to )

Probably "The Children of Green Knowe" by Lucy M. Boston.

There was a copy of one of the books in my class library when I was in Grade 4, I think, in South Africa. Due to many factors, going to school there was not the happiest time (in a way it was, but looking back as an adult, not so much.) Well anyway, it was a great escape for me, and I was completely immersed in the world of the story, so much so that I can still remember to this day, how happy I felt reading those books.

It opened me up to the wide world of reading and I haven't looked back since :)

Really Tough question! I guess it would depend on when in your life you experience a book and the catagorie.

Yes you are right it is way to hard a question since I have mentioned my own choice Monsoon I have allready changed my mind - Now its Angels and Demons by Dan Brown wait just changed my mind now its Blue Horizon by Wilbur Smith - However your answer Ken Follett I think would win a vote he sure is a well spoken of book writer and author and has a huge fan base

Take Care [b15] Son of the Silver Fox

You know I just thought about my post - I must be dumber than a buffalo eating grass - There is no such as thing as your favourite book - there are many [b6]

"Gone With the Wind" - I read it when I was 15 for a book report and absolutely couldn't put it down. Couldn't wait to get home from school and read more about Scarlet and Rhett.
