This reminds me of a question asked to Dawson (in Dawson's Creek the TV show).

Amy : Favorite movie of the last couple years off the top of your head. Don't even think about it.

Dawson : Run Lola run.

Amy : Liar! That's the movie you whip out to show people how cool you are! I'm not interested in cool. I'm interested in the movie that made you cry and you have no idea why. I'm interested in the movie that you're embarrassed to tell your friends you went to go see on opening night.

So...answering the question:

"Schindlers List" or "A Time to Kill" (both of which are unbelievably thought provoking and profound) would be my cool answer.

"Bring it On" would be my embarrassing one. It's the ultimate cheesy feel good teen flick! Altho, I do have to add it didnt make me cry and I didnt go to see it at the cinema! But I do have it on DVD.

On a similar line - What was your favourite childhood TV programme?

@ Neferk - You forgot to ask a question.

@ Mat - Just wanted to say that I have also seen 'A Time To Kill' and i have not seen anything more moving or emotional on TV. Fantastic film. As for 'Bring it on' well, i've never heard of it, nevermind seen it, so it doesn't seem embarrassing to me

Looks like there is going to be a big queue to answer the next question.
Fingers on the buzzer everybody [b24]
While a tiger eyed its prey and an eagle raged in a thunderous sky a river of darkness fell upon a burning sun and the wolf cried tis a time to die, thus did the angels weep as power and triumph in those golden eyes did creep.

Probably an album by Manic Street Prachers. They are my favourite band, so either The Holy Bible or Everything Must Go.

If you were to have children, what would you name them? Boy and a Girl.

I would think Zaphod would be the boy and Eulid the girl.

It is a pleasant morning with the sun shining, not a cloud in the sky. However, it's not that warm.

What sport do you play?

I would take Orlando Bloom and Brad Pitt. Pitt because he looks like he is strong and someone has to do the 'manly' work on the island and Bloom for company.

Lying in on a Sunday Morning followed by a full english breakfast or demonstrating to a senior Actuary that a junior Actuary has been ballsing up the policyholder liabilities all year by looking at the wrong data and never questioning an apparently badly managed derivative policy and assuming that the performance of one company was greatly inferior to another. Phew glad to get that off my chest.

Oh yes a question!

What was the first record/8 Track/Tape/cd/single/album/md you bought?
