The "half" I've got for AMORAL REDUCTION I think is a naval rank but don't know who/other half or from which book yet.

Hey! delby! Give us a hint - which book - I suspect one of the seafaring ones.

I've thought before that the answer to this one is Claudia Monterro from 'a time to die', but i could never remember whether her surname was spelt with one or two r's.
While a tiger eyed its prey and an eagle raged in a thunderous sky a river of darkness fell upon a burning sun and the wolf cried tis a time to die, thus did the angels weep as power and triumph in those golden eyes did creep.

(Boy! Was I off track - no wonder I didn't get it - had half of it wrong #-o)
