Hey guys,

Anyone read or heard of Tony Park. Hes an Australian author whos ment to write in a simular style to the great Wilbur Smith. Im currentlt just reading his first book called Far Horizon. Its not bad but after reading the whole Courtney series from Wilbur through its hard to get into a totally diferent story about different people.

Anyone heard to Tony and or read some of his stuff??

I just had Tony Park's book Far Horizon arrive from Australia. Evidently there wasn't any convenient place to purchase it in America. It takes place in South Africa, so I am looking forward to reading more and learning more. I too want to compare it to WS writing style.

Have since finished this book and i found it to be a great read. Like i said before its hard to get into another author but i really did like the storyline. To any Wilbur fan its worth a read.

Now also completed Tony's second book Zambezi. Another great read imo. Set in the early-mid 1990's its a thrill a minute book that has you guessing the whole way through.

Maybe there is a Tony Park forum out on the Internet, where Wilbur has an account ;-)

Nice one, Ramon.

Been away from here too long and just catching up. I've just got back to Australia after six months in southern Africa researching and writing. Looking forward to Assegai this year.

Thanks again Bids et al for your kind words
