yes bIds we all wanted it in paperback but unfortunately it's just available on KINDLE. I downloaded Kindle (free) onto the computer and then read Sons of Africa there - worth doing until it appears in hard copy. all the best tedd

Hi Tedd and Bids!!

Haven't been on here for a while, busy finishing off Empress Gold, the follow on to Sons of Africa; should be out late December (fingers crossed). Also using Kobo now; similar to Kindle. Re hard copy, buy the time printing costs etc have been taken into consideration, paperback costs would be way over the top, so at least for now will be staying with digital, that way I get to keep the price low.

Hi Ted - nearly finished Empress Gold, ten more pages and I'll be through. Then edit, so late December/early January. Have also started no. 3; a stand alone, set in the 1800's and really enjoying it. The follow on to that will be the final book in the Goddard trilogy so lots to look forward to.
Stay safe old buddy, and have a great Christmas.

And to you and yours, John! The site seems to have healed itself again. Was a bit of a mess at one stage, all sorts of muck (porn) and God knows what. Think you will like the cover of Empress Gold, pretty cool, as the kids would say. Hope you guys like.
Best greetings for Xmas and the New Year, reckon it will be a good one.

Apparently the latest version of a popular spambot learned how to breach the forum's CAPTCHA system (which stops SPAMBOTS being able to register) and literally hundreds of bots registered to the forum between November 16th and the 18th and proceeded to post a load of crap.

I think we're over the worst now, however even when we're seeing the occasional SPAM post today more often than not that user joined during those dates. Unfortunately I cannot delete all users who joined then, because I could be deleting 'real' users, however most definitely are spammers. Looking at the following shows you what I mean:

Thanks John - within a few pages of tying up Empress Gold (follow on), more or less the same length and same families central to storyline. I love the cover, my graphics wizard done a fantastic job and 99% sure it will be up on Amazon kindle this coming January, so keep an eye out. Tried to read the one you are into at the mo but found it a bit clunky. Horses for courses, I guess.
You and yours have a great festive week. :D :D :D

JEFF!

I was looking up images of the Zimbabwe stone falcons today (thinking of getting it as a tattoo) and your picture was the first image on the search!

I was so excited, just had to share :)
