This team is fun. They write thrillers with a touch of scientific background. They have a series going on whose main character is Special Agent Pendergast. A very interesting and mysterious character. They are perfect beach or holiday entertainments.
They also write their own novels, but I find that the ones written as a team are the best.

Yep, pretty much agree with your call on them but I only read like 3, Was Neanderthal theirs too?

No, "Neanderthal" is not theirs. Try the Pendergast stories, pretty good entertainment.

i have read a couple of Douglas Preston novels - the codex and tyrannosaur canyon - and i enjoyed them both. Good train ride fodder!
