Perfect blend of historical fiction with a slight touch of fantasy. Long books but very well written and researched. It will provide a lot of hours of entertainment.

Highly recommended for historical fiction lovers. I have read Byzantium and I think it will sit good with WS fans.

Delby, that's him, he wrote "The Silver Hand" and many others. I believe he is currently working on a trilogy about Robin Hood? But his early stuff is pretty good. For those of you that like huge novels like "Shogun" and "Pillars of the Earth" try "Byzantium", a long but real treat.
