Have been downloading some of my favourite Christmas songs off the internet and was wondering, which do you find the best? I like quite a lot of them [tanz] but if i had to pick one i'd probably go for 'Last Christmas' by Wham/George Michael :iPod: P-D

(Have had to leave some out because i wasn't allowed to enter too many poll options)

Extra songs for you listed here (not all are to my liking!)

Greg Lake - I Believe In Father Christmas
Chris De Burgh - A Spaceman Came Travelling
The Beach Boys - Little Saint Nick
Paul McCartney - Wonderful Christmas Time
Cliff Richard - Mistletoe And Wine
Aled Jones - Walking In The Air
Bing Crosby - White Christmas
Nat King Cole - The Christmas Song
The Supremes - Santa Claus Is Coming To Town
Pogues and Fairy Tale of New York
Mud - Lonely This Christmas

I'm not a great lover of X-mas music as a rule, but Last X-mas by the ex-Wham has to be my all-time fav :D

Why don't you list the rest of your songs in your post, that way we can comment on your taste, poll notwithstanding :)

or better still, add more options to the poll (I've increased the max amount of options to 20).

Can't seem to go back and edit the poll now. I will just list some more in my 1st post as Neferk suggested 8)

I'm particularly glad you didn't add any of the other 'songs' to the poll John!

You have a good point  But i have tried to include as many as possible just to keep everyone happy.

At the moment i see that my favourite 'Last Christmas' is in the lead with 3 out of 3 votes! Glad to see people here have good taste :)

Oh bother, when I hear "last christmas" I feel immediatly sick. [-(

Heard this to often and the radio station here play it on and on and on. Apart from that I'm not a friend of the terror in radio and shops before christmas, I try to ignore not. As good as it goes. (:)

:o  Can't believe you don't like 'Last Christmas' WSI!

There's also the Dean Martin Song i forgot to put up. You know? The 'let it snow, let it snow, let it snow' song.

believe it, for me it's a curse :!:

let it snow is ok, that's something with style and charme (and not heard too often and obtrusive)

That one does drive me crazy... each and every single version of it. Do people know how yucky snow can really be, when all is said & done? It's pretty to look at, but that's it! lol

that depends on the sort of snow and what u have to do. If u have to drive to work then it's really disgusting. But otherwise it might be a wonderful alibi not to go to work

Yeah i quite like snow, especially when i was in school! Having the day off was great. Snow ball fights can be fun too, but can also hurt.

I will add Pogues and Fairy Tale of New York to my first post mat. As for the classic ones....no [-(

Pogues does it for me too.

Quite tricky then between the wham and that. But think the pogues would win.

I was watching VH1's Best of Xmas Number ones earlier and Band Aids "Do they know its Christmas" was playing. I remembered not only how good the song really was/is but also hat there are so many people out there less fortunate then us. For me a good song is more than just a good "tune", it's got to mean something and "Do they know it's christmas" really does.
