Really? I dunno, I mean I love Owen Wilson but I think it's one of those movies where the trailers give away all the funny bits

I saw Superman on Friday night - really disapointing! The reviews I read were excellent, but it didn't live up to it :( Really long and tried too hard to be "deep and meaningful", which it really wasn't! Didn't help that I was desparete for a pee for the last hour tho' - I just wanted it to end!

On the other hand when I came home I watched "Old School" which I quite liked and then "Kingdom of Heaven" was on TV on saturday which was excellent (I want to see the directors cut now, apparently it's even better). Very topical too...

Dude, KOH Director's Cut is really good! My little bro was enthusing about the movie when it ended, and he never has a nice thing to say about any movie that has O. Bloom in a starring role. The scenes that were cut don't seem like a big deal but they really flesh out the story. Definately worth buying!

Too bad about Superman tho'. Was sorely tempted to check it out the other day when we were out for dinner, but decided against it. Guess I'll wait for it to come on tv

As for Lady in the Water - got all kinds of reviews. Am not too interested i it myself, but here's what RottenTomatoes has on it. And here's the description from Yahoo:

Cleveland Heep, a modest building manager, rescues a mysterious young woman from danger and discovers she is actually a narf--a character from a bedtime story who is trying to make the treacherous journey from our world back to hers. Cleveland and his fellow tenants start to realize that they are also characters in this bedtime story. As Cleveland falls deeper and deeper in love with the woman, he works together with the tenants to protect his new fragile friend from the deadly creatures that reside in this fable and are determined to prevent her from returning home.

It's a bedtime story he created and now turned into a movie. Have you ever watched The Village? It's kind of like that. A couple of friends saw and loved it.

There are a lot pf promising sequels this summer, Harry Potter, Pirates of the Caribbean, Spiderman, Shrek. But the one I’m waiting for is the fourth entry to my favorite action movie of all time. “Die Hard”. .It is called “Live Free or Die Hard”. Opens at the end of June. And I just can’t wait to see Bruce Willis/John McClain in full form again…

Penitent,
I got to see one of the scenes for "Live Free or Die Hard" being filmed in Baltimore. I was 26 floors up on a roof so I got to see a lot of a scene with a helicopter chasing Bruce Willis in a car.

well it was actually the 4th may Spiderman came out. Went to see it last night, really enjoyed. A good film, better than number 2 however, not a complete ending i though, which leaves an easy option open for Spiderman 4 in the future.

Am looking forward to Shrek 3, HARRY POTTER!!! and of course, Pirates 3. Not so stoked about Spidey - I'm very bored with no story and only special effects.

I saw Spiderman 3 on the weekend. I'm not an obsessed spidey fan but it was pretty good. The final battle was pretty cool *iloveharry* but the special effects made me a little dizzy! :) And there was this extremely weird part about half way through where Peter Parker turned all emo!! What the...?! WEIRD! Anyway...the posters are all up at the movies for Pirates 3!!! *dies of excitement!* EEEE!!

Last night went out to dinner with a friend and totally met this guy that could pass for Will Turner in the movie! Reminded me of Pirates 3... I'm looking forward to this movie! :D
