River God Music

If you've ever wondered what Ancient Egyptian music sounds like, wonder no more!

The BBC has a program called Ghost Sounds, and they published this article on the web to promote it. The sounds of the trumpets are haunting. I can just imagine all the pomp and ceremony around Pharaoh, with these trumpets sounding.

Just had to share!

Interesting Nefer I listened to James Tappern and the original 1939 broadcast - if you use your imagination a little you can see the parade of the pharaohs or the introduction of the great events that occured almost in real time in ancient egypt.
