Will do E. Just read the extract from WS's latest book on his Facebook page; Vicious Circle. I'm sure it will go down well with the faithful, but a certain young lady doing her 'thing' in the office loo did not blow my hair back. Or is it me?
take care.
ps. release date for SoA paperback is round about the 30th of this month. (sept)

I just browsed through the extract. Well... sigh. Not very promising.

Will Empress have the same release date as SoA?

Btw: how is it going with the sales? Are you a bestseller yet? :D

Hi E. Sales for Sons of Africa going great guns; over two years now. Empress Gold picking up; takes time for word of mouth to get books 'out there'. Empress will be approx. a month behind, but will let you know the exact date. SoA been in top 100 lots of times. Fluctuates. Really chuffed though. However, the one I'm writing now I'm sure will go down really well; in fact I love it. Only 70 pages in so still a way to go. WS worries me; something just aint right? Living off the hype. His earlier books were sheer genius, the last couple? Meh. :(
Anyway, you take care and stay in touch; enjoy the chats with you, John and Tedd.
God bless and keep well.

I received an email from Amazon the other day recommending Sons of Africa. Great for you Jeff, but I do find it a little funny that's its recommending books I have already read!

Hi Mat; happens to me all the time. Not sure they keep track of who has or hasn't read their books. Hope you're keeping well.

Now have the hard copy and am reading it - much better and more enjoyable than using the Kindle method (especially when it's on the computer)

I haven't bought a real book in over two years, but this morning I finally ordered your paperbacks from amazon.com. The estimated delivery date is between 9-December and 30-December. Good God, what will they do with it? Bring it by bike messenger and a swimmer to the Netherlands?

Haha, it's quite crappy weather at the moment, but nevertheless I'll have the grill and some nice steaks waiting when you get here!

Thanks for checking up on it. It's not a big deal, though. I'll be patient :).

Yes Jeff - it is odd!!
When I ordered SOA is took about 10 days to arrive - but my order for EG has been stated as delivery in 5-7 weeks. Must be cutting back on costs and sending by camel train

Hi Tedd - this is what Amazon said:
'I checked and found that if you will place an order for the items then it will take 12 to 18 days to ship because packages shipped internationally are sent to the carrier's nearest regional shipping hub and then delivered to customers by their local postal authorities. Tracking and delivery confirmation is only available if the carrier provides it to Amazon.com.'
Will try to find out more. Will keep in touch. :?

Hi E - here's what I posted for Tedd; From Amazon:

I checked and found that if you will place an order for the items then it will take 12 to 18 days to ship because packages shipped internationally are sent to the carrier's nearest regional shipping hub and then delivered to customers by their local postal authorities. Tracking and delivery confirmation is only available if the carrier provides it to Amazon.com.
Will find out more, if possible.
