Take That

Well, they've reunited after 10 years and are (apparently) even better than before:

But is it just for the money?

are you kidding? That doesn't include Robbie Williams though, right? I never thought he would ever reunite with them...

Definately sounds like the piggy bank's hollow.

And anyway, it won't be the same without Robbie Williams (he was my fav. back in the day ;))

Robbie re-recorded some vocals and appeared as a hologram on the stage for a couple of songs. There's a lot of speculation in the press over here that he'll appear in one of the concerts. They're also saying that they might be releasing a new album with new songs...

I saw a picture of what they look like now. I laughed as they just look like a bunch of normal guys. Here is the pic I saw.

This pic is courtesy of BBC.

I was too young to care about them back in the day. It also helps that I'm not a girl =P I don't like their songs, but the fact that they can still make a successful tour ten years on is quite impressive. Even without Robbie.

Boy Bands was a phenomenon that started in the 80s. Never bothered to much about them but this is just a testament that any music produced then was much better than most of the crap that radio stations throw at us today. I guess people don’t easily forget the good ol’ times… I probably will not be buying their stuff anytime soon but… Good for them!
